212 Birding Rush Creek

This trip will meander along Rush Creek through several habitat types, ending at the shore of Mono Lake. Along the way we’ll watch and listen for riparian songbirds, sagebrush inhabitants, waterfowl, and shorebirds including Spotted Sandpipers. We will also take note of the creek itself and consider how changing water flow impacts habitat for numerous birds and other animals. Little shade. Please bring snacks, water, and sunscreen.
