232 Drawing trees with handmade charcoal
Come sketch Great Basin trees with charcoal that Ane Carla made from their twigs! You will capture the "gestaldt" of Lee Vining's trees with quick strokes and keen observation, using grids and overlays--the secret tools of illustrators. Participants will render several small works using different kinds of charcoals and papers, all provided by the instructor. All skill levels welcome. (Short walk from the Lee Vining Community Center).
