This workshop will focus on critical documentation, remote camera placement techniques, ways to set up remote cameras for the best results, and the advantages of long-term documentation (6-7 months). We will delve into setup methods that made all the difference, and recent secrets revealed by remote camera work. We will share ways to overcome the unexpected out in the field, and video highlights from elusive members of the wild (Sierra Nevada red fox, wolf, fisher, marten, badger, ringtail, flying squirrel). Finally, we will discuss how remote camera footage can enhance the narrative in films.
