410 Birding Burger's Retreat

We'll drive up and over a steep moraine out of Lee Vining Canyon, with spectacular views of Mount Dana and beyond, on our way to a privately-owned secluded nature reserve only a short distance from Tioga Pass towards Yosemite. We'll stroll through a rich variety of habitats including sagebrush, meadow, willow thickets, aspen groves, conifers, and rock outcroppings. Green-tailed Towhee, woodpeckers, warblers, and many others may make an appearance. Bring snacks, water, and sunscreen.
