413 Birding the June Lake Loop

This beautiful driving loop has a variety of habitats--open water (lakes) with shorelines, aspen riparian, marsh (emergent vegetation), mountain sagebrush-scrub, and coniferous forest. Our birds will vary with each habitat from waterbirds to woodpeckers. This is a drive with multiple stops and short strolls. Bring snacks, water, and sunscreen.
